2011 Old Crocs Tour to Brisbane

Some 20 intrepid travellers set off early one Friday morning in late March to Brisbane for a world wind weekend of rugby and other stuff. A game with the Toothless Tigers (East Brisbane) set the pace for the weekend. A wee bit of an issue though with the plane arriving early in the morning and the game later that evening – too much time in the middle and plenty of pubs to sample.

The game was played in the true rugby tradition of Old Boys rugby and a good time was had by all. The Tigers are now the proud owner of one of our coveted croc heads which is now on display.

A few sore heads on Saturday morning was a good start to another day of rugby including taking in the Cheetahs/Qld Reds game at Suncorp Stadium which the Reds won.

It goes without saying that “what happens on tour stays on tour” – doesn’t it Richo and Dougie.
